"Side by side we sit waiting to see another day
After a tired night, you were so exhausted
After a tired night, you were so exhausted
you lean on my shoulder with your beautiful eyes closed
You were in deep sleep, you were traveling far away
I gazed upon your sleeping face
As you snore, I became to pray
My heart began to say :
"Lord, I don't know why
I don't know why it is her
I don't know what I did to get her
Cause she is my diamond girl "
As she slept, I gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead
I then put my ears on her chest
I heard a melodious sound
Her heart began to say :
"I love you, babe
I will never go away
I will be yours day by day
I don't know what I did to deserve you
Cause you're a diamond boy "
Tears began to drop out of my eyes
I didn't ask for an Earth Paradise
She is the source of my delight
Cause she is my diamond girl
You were in deep sleep, you were traveling far away
I gazed upon your sleeping face
As you snore, I became to pray
My heart began to say :
"Lord, I don't know why
I don't know why it is her
I don't know what I did to get her
Cause she is my diamond girl "
As she slept, I gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead
I then put my ears on her chest
I heard a melodious sound
Her heart began to say :
"I love you, babe
I will never go away
I will be yours day by day
I don't know what I did to deserve you
Cause you're a diamond boy "
Tears began to drop out of my eyes
I didn't ask for an Earth Paradise
She is the source of my delight
Cause she is my diamond girl
All of a sudden, she woke up
She looked at me and began to smile
She reached to my cheek and massage it with love
And then she began to say:
Babe, oh babe
I love you more and more every day
Thank you for being here
But I must depart right away
As she left, she kissed me and said :
" You are my diamond boy "
She looked at me and began to smile
She reached to my cheek and massage it with love
And then she began to say:
Babe, oh babe
I love you more and more every day
Thank you for being here
But I must depart right away
As she left, she kissed me and said :
" You are my diamond boy "
